Detroit music icons Jack White and Diana Ross will perform at an Eminem-produced concert on June 6, in celebration of the grand reopening of the Michigan Central Station. The historic train depot in the heart of Detroit has been closed since 1988, but the Ford Motor Company purchased it in 2018, leading to a six-year restoration project that has finally been completed. Other musical guests set to appear at the concert are fellow-Detroit artists Big Sean, Slum Village, the Clark Sisters, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Some high-profile artists from outside Michigan will also take part, including Common, Jelly Roll, Fantasia, and Melissa Etheridge. The concert will stream live on Peacock beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET., with a one-hour primetime special on NBC on June 9th at 7:00 p.m. ET. (Consequence of Sound)
